Arrabbiata Grilled Minced Meat Pockets

Savor the bold flavors of these Arrabbiata grilled minced meat pockets! Juicy minced meat is spiced with a fiery tomato chili sauce, then grilled to perfection and wrapped in soft, warm pockets. A spicy delight!

INGREDIENTS:

  • A glass of “Bongiovi Arrabbiata” sauce

  • 1/4 cup chopped spinach leaves

  • An egg

  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs

  • 3/4 cup fresh, shredded Parmesan cheese

  • 3/4 cup grated mozzarella

  • 500 g lean ground beef

  • One minced garlic clove

  • 2 tbsp diced onions

  • Muffin pan 


PREPARATION:

Mix together egg, spinach, breadcrumbs, onions, garlic and add ½ cup Bongiovi sauce, ¼ cup mozzarella and ¼ cup Parmesan. Form it into 8 to 10 large meatballs.

Pour a spoonful of sauce into the bottom of each muffin tin. Then put the meatballs into each mold. The remaining cheese is sprinkled on top.

Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for approx. 20-30 minutes.

Put a cup of water in the oven. This prevents it from drying out.


SERVING SUGGESTION:  

On a bed of fresh spinach leaves or with pasta of your choice.
